The Ministry's Objectives:

• 1. Accelerating access to clean and safe water for all users, aiming for 95% coverage in urban areas and 85% in rural areas by 2020.

• 2. Improving government revenue efficiency and preventing financial losses.

• Ensuring Zanzibar achieves a stable energy supply, energy security, and an efficient energy management system by 2025.

• 3. Enhancing good governance and providing appropriate services to all citizens.

• 4. Improving electricity services and creating an environment that attracts investment in alternative energy sources.

• 5. Effectively managing sand, gravel, and stone resources to benefit Zanzibar's residents while eliminating shortages in these materials.

• 6. Strengthening inter-sectoral collaboration between the government and the Water, Energy, and Minerals sectors.
